So you head out the door to the local beauty supply store and ask an employee what you can use to get rid of wrinkles. They lead you to an endless aisle of overpriced products containing retinol.
“This is what you need to get rid of those wrinkles!” they say as you swear they are staring right at your wrinkles and smirking.
But how much do you really know about retinol? Is it safe? Does it work? Why are there so many warnings about redness, irritation, and even skin cancer?
