Adjustment Period with Breakouts

There will be an adjustment period- up to 6 weeks and especially if you were using any products containing alcohol, fragrance, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, or any chemicals- all of which are extremely drying, irritating and can cause disruptions in the normal functions and processes of the skin, such as irritation,  excessive oiliness or dryness, breakouts and congestion.
Here are two articles I recently wrote regarding detox and adjustment I suggest reading.  They help explain what may be happening with your skin- hang in there, things will get better.
There is no way to speed the process up. I have written two articles on the topic of adjusting to a chemical-free skincare routine and how your skin may react. You can read them "Adjusting to Skin-Food" and "Detox and Adjustment" for more information.
I would recommend sticking with the PLO products and allow your skin time to adjust.  What you describe is all a part of the normal adjustment period.  The skin is used to reacting to chemicals and drying agents and gets "confused" when those ingredients are no longer present.  Again, this can take up to 6 weeks for a full adjustment.
