You are most likely sensitive to baking soda. It can cause redness, itchiness or irritation if you are sensitive.  This sensitivity can occur immediately, or after a period of time.  

Primal Life Organics does make a sensitive formula with arrowroot instead of baking soda- in a lemon-clove and lavender flavors. We also have a Cool Aloe that has the arrowroot as well as aloe butter instead of coconut oil for those allergic to coconut oil.
