Boot-a-Pest Bug Spray is a safe, DEET-free, plant-based bug deterrent that is skin-friendly and safe for the entire family! 

Our formula is uniquely hand-made with a 3-week warm brew of witch hazel infused with neem, thyme, rosemary, catnip, and lavender.  While brewing, we gently stir it twice daily to infuse the highest concentration possible.  Once brewed, we have our “tea,” and we strain the tea and infuse the essential oils of peppermint, citronella, clove bud, geranium, tea tree, lemon eucalyptus, and lavender are added. 

Our blend of essential oils is known to repel ticks and keep mosquitoes away!  Boot-A-Pest comes in an eco-friendly aluminum spray bottle to prevent contamination of any other unwanted intruders into your skin!

*Many recipes use essential oils only and do not use an infusion.  Essential oils do not fully blend into water/witch hazel and can leave you with spotty results.  Making a tea infusion ensures that the witch hazel will contain the infused botanicals even if the bottle is not shaken well before use, leaving you fully covered and protected.

Shake.  Hold container 6 to 8 inches from skin and spray with slow sweeping motion.  Use just enough to cover exposed skin. TO APPLY TO FACE: Spray palm of hand first and then apply sparingly and avoid eyes.  SMILE!  Bugs will hide!

Great smelling, effective bug spray

I am not a person that typically attracts a lot of mosquitoes, but I’ve found in recent years that when I’m outside houseflies love to bite me. I’ve also discovered they really hurt when they bite! This spray does a great job at repelling them. I typically don’t use bug sprays since conventional ones have so many chemicals, & I hate the way they make my skin feel & smell. I’m so glad I found this spray!

Good bug spray with nice scent

I hate chemical bug spray leaving my skin feeling coated & the terrible smell. I’m not attractive to mosquitoes generally, but the house flies devour me & they really hurt when they bite! So when I’m milking my goats I get really eaten alive till this spray. It feels good on my skin & I love it’s smell, it leaves my bathroom smelling like I sprayed an air freshener for awhile. No bugs mess with me when I am wearing this spray. My plan is to use this on my upcoming trip to Nigeria, which I anticipate being buggy.

The BEST!

This is the best bug spray on the market. Not only does it contain natural ingredients, but it is also so effective! I took it with me to Costa Rica a few months ago and it was the only effective bug spray out there!! I even compared it with the local offerings and the difference was very obvious. The mosquitoes over there are vicious! Thank *** I had my bug spray with me.

Smells so clean and works well too!

The scent of Boot-a-pest is so much cleaner and nicer than other natural bug sprays. I don’t cough when I spray it on myself! And that’s important. Plus, it keeps the bugs away, no small feat in the Florida county we live in where they do not spray for mosquitoes. I will be reordering! I love how fine of a mist the spray is too.

No bugs here!

I love Boot-A-Pest! First off, it's natural. Second, it smells great. Third, it does a wonderful job repelling bugs. There is everything to like about this. I don't leave home without it.
