Ineffective Vitamin C Preparations: Wanting to offer vitamin C products, many companies have used derivatives of vitamin C, such as ascorbyl palmitate and magnesium ascorbyl phosphate. Derivatives are easier to stabilize, but they are not L-ascorbic acid, which is the only form of vitamin C the body can use. Furthermore, lab-made vitamin C can cause more harm than good. For more information about the harmful effects of lab-made vitamin C, please read this.

Rosehip Seed Oil has incredible skin rejuvenating properties and is a safe solution to repair the skin's surface, restore skin elasticity, protect against sun damage, reduce scars and prevent wrinkles and signs of aging. Rosehip Seed Oil is the only vegetable oil that contains natural Retinoic acid (vitamin A acid). It is also the best vegetable source of omega 3 and a great source of omega 6 and vitamin C.

Maracuja Oil works to rejuvenate and even out skin tone, while its infusion of vitamin C brightens the skin. It is rich in EFAs which are known to replenish and recharge the skin. It is powerfully anti-aging as well as hydrating, quenching dry skin without leaving a greasy or filmy feel.

Blackberry Seed Oil is cold pressed from the seed of the berry fruit, and it possesses a unique combination of antioxidants and EFAs including vitamin C, vitamin E, tocopherols, tocotrienols and a variety of carotenoids.

Acai Berries are an excellent source of calcium, iron, vitamins B1, B2 and B3, vitamin C and E and EFAs (specifically Omegas 6 & 9). These powerful components can help combat signs of aging by improving skin's overall moisture, health and appearance. Additionally, the vitamin C found in Acai Berries is stable and helps to rejuvenate and revitalize the skin while improving cell regeneration. Acai Berries also contain large amounts of antioxidants which help to protect the skin against free radical damage and oxidation of the cells.

Mango Butter contains high levels of antioxidants and beneficial vitamins A, C, and E. Mango Butter contains natural emollient qualities that help to moisturize the skin (without clogging pores) and promote cell regeneration. It also helps to improve skin and hair elasticity, and induce new, healthy cell growth.

Goji Berries are known as the most powerful food for anti-aging. The antioxidants, fatty acids, vitamins and minerals that it contains makes it very beneficial in slowing down the aging process. Goji Berry is also known to be effective in preventing macular degeneration that can be caused due to the process of aging.

Mulberries are an excellent source of vitamin C. The vitamin C found in mulberries plays an important role in tissue strength, because it boosts the synthesis of collagen required for healthy cartilage and skin. Mulberries also contain riboflavin (vitamin B-2) which helps defend your tissues against free radicals, which damage your cells and contribute to aging.

Golden Berries contain carotene, bioflavanoids, vitamins A and C and potassium. Golden berries are high in phosphorous, calcium, and vitamins A, C, B1, B2, and B6. They are antioxidants as well as anti-inflammatory.

Maqui Berries are highly antioxidant, as well as anti-inflammatory. The antioxidants and phytochemicals in Maqui Berries help to protect against and reduce cell damage, making the skin look younger for longer.

Camu Camu comes from the Camu Camu Berry which is packed with vitamin C. Since it has a high concentration of vitamin C, it helps to brighten, smooth, firm and improve the appearance of uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles. Camu Powder is also antiseptic, meaning that it kills bacteria.

Jasmine Essential Oil effectively helps fade scars and stretch marks, improve skin elasticity and tone, balance skin's moisture to naturally reduce dryness, and treat eczema and dermatitis. It is antiseptic, antidepressant, antispasmodic and an aphrodisiac. It also has antibacterial properties.

Neroli Essential Oil is renowned for helping to reduce redness and irritation and is an effective essential oil in the treatment of both scars and mature skin. Neroli contains several natural chemicals, the most prominent being citral. This offers natural healing for dry, sensitive skin, and triggers the growth of new healthy skin cells. Not only does Neroli help fade scars, but it also regenerates new cells and improves the health of those already present. Neroli will refresh and smooth tired skin and repair broken capillaries as well as treat wrinkles and aging skin.

Geranium Essential Oil is often used to soothe inflammation and irritated skin due to its healing nature and analgesic properties. Properties of the herb help to increase blood circulation and skin elasticity. When added to massage oil, Geranium Oil acts to reduce dry skin and sagging by retaining moisture in the skin. This botanical also helps fight wrinkles when added as an ingredient to skin moisturizers and toners.

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil helps improve the structure and appearance of aging skin. Ylang-ylang has a toning effect and can balance the production of sebum. It is an antiseptic and a sedative. Ylang-ylang can be used on all skin types and is helpful when treating stubborn boils, acne, eczema, and other skin irritations.

Acerola is derived from the Acerola Cherry which is a tropical superfood and is one of the world's best natural sources of vitamin C. This antioxidant, along with the antioxidant quercitin, helps to neutralize free radicals (toxins that may cause cell damage), promote growth of healthy new skin cells, and increase the healing rate of scars. Topical vitamin C may also help in the formation of collagen, and may block the production of melanin, both of which function to enhance healthy skin.

Mangosteen fruit from the antioxidant rich, exotic, purple mangosteen is one of the best super foods to fight free radicals and heal damaged cells. Rich in essential vitamins and nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium and magnesium, it helps fight inflammation, slow signs of aging, and has anti-fungal, anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties.

Buriti Oil is rich in many nutrients including EFAs, vitamins and beta-carotene. This oil can be used to treat burns, dry skin, sun damage, aging skin, rashes, eczema and psoriasis. It has calming, soothing and regenerating properties, and it anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and photoprotective.

Carrot Seed Essential Oil is high in both vitamins and minerals and is considered to be one of the best oils to rejuvenate and regenerate skin tissue. It helps to remove toxic build-up in the skin, improving the skin’s complexion. It can also be used to soothe burns, blisters and scars, and is suitable for all skin types, especially dry and aging skin.

Frankincense Essential Oil has incredible properties that can rejuvenate skin and prevent and fade scars. It is cytophylactic: it promotes regeneration of healthy cells and keeps the existing cells and tissues healthy.

Myrrh Essential Oil has soothing and astringent action which makes it excellent for relieving a wide variety of skin conditions, including chapped, or cracked skin. Myrrh helps fade scars and age spots and is excellent for treating skin ailments such as rashes. Myrrh is also a skin tonic - it strengthens and enlivens skin cells.

Palmarosa Essential Oil moisturizes the skin while balancing the hydration levels and stimulates cell regeneration. It balances the production of sebum, and helps to keep the skin supple and elastic. It is extremely valuable for use with acne, dermatitis, to prevent scarring, rejuvenation and regeneration of the skin, as well as help fight minor skin infections.

Spikenard Essential Oil harmonizes and balances all skin function with its regenerative qualities. It is antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory. It has rejuvenating properties that help to smooth mature, wrinkled skin, and rehydrate taut, thin facial skin. It can soothe irritated rashes and help heal dry, scaly skin. Spikenard Oil also helps to cool and calm inflammation and allergic reactions on the skin.

Mimosa Essential Oil nourishes and softens the skin and helps to soothe inflamed or sensitive areas

Sandalwood Essential Oil softens dry skin and can be used as a moisturizer to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This superior herb also promotes the formation of new skin cells. High in sesquiterpene compounds, sandalwood increases circulation and gives skin a smoother look. Sesquiterpenes stimulate activity in the pituitary and hypothalamus glands, thereby boosting natural production of human growth hormone (HGH), which normally slows as individuals age. Results of a milestone clinical trial published in the July 1990 issue of the "New England Journal of Medicine" showed that HGH increases skin thickness and elasticity. Thicker skin tends to have fewer wrinkles.

Directions: To clean skin, apply one drop to each cheek, chin, and forehead. Gently massage into the skin. May be used under the eyes, but avoid direct contact with the eyes.
