Mr. Clean Magic Eraser...On Your Teeth?!

People will go to extreme measures to have whiter teeth.

Recent studies show that 80% of Americans between the ages of 18-49 want a whiter smile; 85% of them being females. Statistically speaking, it’s understandable that so many want pearly whites. It’s said that 58% of people are more likely to land their dream job with whiter teeth. And 53% more likely to gain a generous salary. It’s no wonder people are doing anything they can to achieve a whiter smile!

Take a seat for this new TikTok trend that is currently happening...people are using Mr. Clean Magic Erasers on their teeth!

Just think about this for a second, Mr. Clean products are filled with chemicals. And people are willingly rubbing this on their teeth, which then gets into their saliva, body, and bloodstream!

Dr. Zainab Mackie posts a review on her TikTok account (@drmackie) explaining the dangers of this trend. “Using that on your teeth is like using sandpaper - it’s too rough.” she proclaims. She also states, “second, why would you put random chemicals in your mouth?” Can we start by saying how true both of those statements are? The introduction video on the TikTok is cringe-worthy when you hear the squeaking noise coming from the eraser rubbing against the teeth.

These Magic Erasers are made of melamine foam, utilizing a compound called formaldehyde-melamine-sodium bisulfite copolymer. Melamine foam acts almost like very fine sandpaper with many, many tiny holes throughout the surface. This helps it to effectively clean and pick up any dirt, grime, stain and/or mess from a surface. Now the melamine that is found in this product is something to stay clear of. Depending on the quantity, this chemical compound can be toxic and may lead to kidney dysfunction. Exposure to this chemical has also been linked to negative brain development and has a harmful impact on reproductive functions. Moral of the story, do not put this product anywhere near your mouth. If you are a fan of this product’s cleaning power, keep using it for house cleaning purposes only

There are numerous ways to achieve a whiter smile. At Primal Life Organics, they believe and stand with natural, holistic alternatives to the toxic options on the market. Do not put your teeth and body at risk with abrasive, chemical-infused teeth whitening procedures. It can ultimately tear down the tooth enamel, cause sensitive and bleeding gums, and if peroxide and/or bleach gets ingested, let’s simply say your stomach will not be feeling well at all; more serious health results may come, too.

The Real White Teeth Whitening System provides your mouth, teeth, and gums with an organic, soothing solution to teeth whitening. Utilizing red and blue LED light technology, you can achieve what Primal Life loves to call the Glow Smile. It works best with the Real White Teeth Whitening Gel that is oil and clay-based. Bentonite Clay is nontoxic and rich in vital minerals that are beneficial for our teeth and gums – like calcium and potassium. It is a cleansing clay that gently scrubs and beautifully polishes the teeth. Its essential oil blend is an effective, natural way to maintain good oral hygiene that helps clean gum tissue and fight bad breath. Rubbing this on the teeth before applying the light therapy technology aids in the remineralization of the teeth to bring back their natural whiteness. Depending on what your oral health goals are, the blue LED light mode aids in the whitening process, while the red LED light mode helps promote gum health. Interested in both? The whitening system offers a combination mode containing 16 red and 16 blue LED lights to help you achieve the Glow Smile

TikTok is a great platform, and Primal Life loves to use it, too! Give them a follow @primallifeorg and share your experience with the Real White Teeth System.
