Sun-Up Sun Protection Spray

I am so grateful to have found this product. I have a skin allergy to almost every sunscreen, so I am SO glad I found this product. It works well on the face and body. I would say that it is still possible to get burned in the very peak hours of sun in the middle of the summer when the sun is very intense, but otherwise, this is amazing! I use it every day in the summer for me and for my kids. It has a bit of a strong essential oil scent, but you don't notice it after a few minutes. Just be careful using it with light colored clothing because the carrot seed oil can stain.

I've now had a chance to try this stuff out over several rounds of golf, several walks, and several hikes.

(And for context, I live at 7500 ft. above sea level where the sun's effects tend to be more pronounced.)

BOTTOM LINE: This stuff actually works. It's comparable to the "sun stick" product Primal Life sells except with two key differences:

1) You can use much less of it at a time. (For instance, I'll spray 3 drops on an arm and rub it in, and those 3 drops easily lasts me 90 minutes on that arm.)

2) It smells a little better than the "stick" version, in my opinion.

3) It's easier to rub into the skin than the "stick" version.

That said, I think the stick version lasts slightly longer and is more "obvious" (due to the white color) where it's been applied.

But if you're like me and have a background in using essential oils, this product will feel very "at home" in that regard. It feels and acts (and smells) very much like a targeted essential oil blend.

All I know is it works. I haven't been burned once since using it.

I was hesitant to buy this product initially because of the lack of an SPF rating but the ingredient list changed my mind. It works! No sunburn for me after using it on hot sunny days on the beach in July. Plus, it smells nice.

This is the best thing ...it and the Liquity Split are the best sun protection products I've ever used. I can't believe something natural works so well and smells so good and doesn't turn me sickly, ghostly greenish white! I am headed on vacation soon and so I ordered extra. I'm going to tell everyone I know about it!

On my second bottle. Smells so good and feels great on the skin. Apply liberally and you will be able to last in the sun
