Hi Erin, You are sort of correct. When you squint or scrunch your forehead you can produce wrinkles and lines-so you want to avoid doing that. Exercises help increase the muscle tone of your face- which will help stimulate collagen production, increase blood flow, faciliate waste removal and reduce those fine lines and wrinkles. During the exercise, you are not holding your face in the pose for any length of time- you are creating movement. I hope this helps. I thought that facial expressions and movements helped to create wrinkles, not prevent them? I have a very expressive face (I scrunch my eyes and forehead up when I’m smiling or laughing, which I do a lot!), and that is exactly where I’m seeing wrinkles! I keep telling myself to try and have a poker face to delay wrinkle formation (good luck with that). Haha
